The Fall Guy
An Austrian skydiver will throw himself from the edge of space to complete a 120,000 base jump.
Felix Baumgartner will attempt to break the speed of sound by free falling nearly 23 miles above Roswell this summer.
Felix made headlines with the lowest base jump ever recorded when he plummeted off the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Describing his next incredible jump, he said: “We’re going up to 120,000 feet in a pressurised capsule hanging underneath a helium balloon and at altitude the balloon will level off.
“I’m going to step off that capsule, fall down for a couple of minutes and hopefully I’m going to break the speed of sound.”
Survival
the crocodile-infested rapids with her feet still bound. The horrifying event was watched by Erin’s friends who saw her plummet into the Zambezi River on New Year’s Eve. Speaking to Australia’s Channel 9, Erin said: “It felt like I had been slapped all over. I actually had to swim down and yank the bungee cord out of whatever it was caught on to make it to the surface. I think it’s definitely a miracle that I survived.” Erin spent a week in hospital with cuts and bruises but was not seriously injured.Hearing about Erin’s fight for survival in a crocodile-infested river reminds us how precious life is.Read what Jesus has to about survival
26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows

Face Off
EXPERTS in the cosmetics industry have been taken aback by recent research which shows that men spend more time getting ready than women.
After an extensive survey carried out for hotel giant Travelodge, figures showed that on average men spend 81 minutes a day on personal grooming.
Despite women carrying out a more intricate grooming routine, it appears that men spend longer cleansing, toning and moisturising, shaving, styling hair and choosing clothes.
Whilst men spend more than 80 minutes a day grooming, women have their beauty regime carried out in just 75 minutes.
