A RUSSIAN company is set to boycott British goods over the UK Government’s support for businesses that ban Christians from openly wearing crosses or crucifixes at work. Vasily Boyko-Veliky, a controversial dairy tycoon, announced that he would no longer be buying British goods for his factories and dairies.
The Co-founder of Your Financial Guardian, said: “I know and respect Britain and I like its products but in a country where the English monarch, the Queen, has a crown set with a cross, it looks like savagery to prevent the people wearing one. We are against the persecutors of faith. Our boycott is aimed primarily at the British people, in support of those who are against this. We hope they will demand a law from parliament and the government to allow a cross to be openly worn.”
An Austrian skydiver will throw himself from the edge of space to complete a 120,000 base jump.
Felix Baumgartner will attempt to break the speed of sound by free falling nearly 23 miles above Roswell this summer.
Felix made headlines with the lowest base jump ever recorded when he plummeted off the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Describing his next incredible jump, he said: “We’re going up to 120,000 feet in a pressurised capsule hanging underneath a helium balloon and at altitude the balloon will level off.
“I’m going to step off that capsule, fall down for a couple of minutes and hopefully I’m going to break the speed of sound.”
