Women in Need

 

Our Women in Need group (WIN) was set up a number of years ago simply to provide friendship and support for women. Many of us have come from difficult and sometimes unusual backgrounds, yet have real peace and security in Christ. We meet every Tuesday from 11.30am till 2.30 pm and all are welcome to come and go as they please. We share a light lunch together and enjoy getting to know one another in a relaxed and warm environment. Sometimes we arrange to do activities like craft making, or organise larger events such as buffets and outings. We are also linked with women in need in Kenya (WINK) and it has been wonderful to be able to give them financial help to enable them to set up various projects to provide for themselves and their families.
